JB-107 Stop Hinge

Got the hinges, they are very well made and beautiful to behold. Still working on the cabinet that they will go into, so I haven't tried to install them. The piece (a "cellarette" in black walnut) will be really sharp and I expect the Brusso hinges to make a statement about the piece.

Outstanding quality and performance.

I bought these hinges for a toybox/hope chest that I built for my daughter. I wanted some seriously tough hinges, and that's what these are -- heavy-duty and attractive in the piece. After installing them I scrubbed them up with a little Barkeeper's Friend and they look fantastic.These are obviously more expensive than a cheap set of hinges from the Orange Box, but I build this thing to last and I have no concerns about them holding the heavy oak lid in place for a couple of generations.Keep in mind that brass screws are very soft -- Brusso included a steel **** of the same size that I used to break in the pilot holes I'd drilled, then I used a little wax on the screws to help them go in and I still left several in less-than-pristine shape.

Brass hinges JB-107, which I bought for mounting on a tool box that I built, work perfectly and keep the opening angle of the lid (95th) as specified in the design, without any variation.The design and performance is perfect. Thank you.
